Spring is Springing Rapidly Now!!!

It's been a while since I have actually spoken to you about the garden, so I thought to myself "tonight is the night".  So here we are.

Our weather has been beautiful, as they say "Queensland, beautiful one day and perfect the next",  I have to agree at this time of the year.  The days are warm to hot, and the nights are cooler, so we can get a good nights sleep.

So I have been looking around the garden and watching for the flowers to show you.

As well as  all the orchids that I have been showing you lately (just stroll back through the posts to the last Sunday Snippets here, and take a look.) we have this now:

behind the cute little begonia flowers is a White Bat Plant, still in his pot but to be planted out this weekend in the same area.  I am really looking forward to this one flowering, hopefully this summer!

Two closer photographs of our beautiful Australian Swamp Orchid. He still has many more flowers to open yet and it a stunning sight!

The dear old Bottlebrush is just beginning to flower and has loads more brushes to open, and then we will get the Lorikeets down drinking the nectar and arguing and screeching! They are such characters. No doubt I will manage to take some funny pictures of them soon!

I hope you have enjoyed your look at the garden and I will post more pictures as things happen out there!
