I Am Home Again

It seems to me, that all I do lately, is apologize profusely to you, my friends, about the fact that I am in and out of hospital constantly!

I am home again now, and a whole lot better than I have been before! All is looking very good with the old heart, and we are just hoping now that things stay this way for a while.

But enough of that!

I must tell you that I did not actually get to take my picture of "calm", though these photographs I am about to show you do give that "calm" feeling.

I have also been around and seen your "calm" pictures, well done!

Through the past two weeks, the temperatures here have been HOT HOT HOT, and STEAMY STEAMY STEAMY, I was lucky to be in the air conditioning at the hospital!! So of course the garden has grown and flowers have bloomed madly.

Of course, as soon as I was home again I was out in the garden taking pictures of what is in flower, so here we are, a bit of an update for you all!

Here are the Hoyas, growing at the back of the Bali Hut

Couldn't resist a picture of the bat Plants, they have sprouted so big with all the heat!

The Blood Lily has only just finished flowering, and it's back again

The Dancing Lady Orchid has sprouted flowers - it grows in full sun

a close up of the dancing ladies - aren't they cute?

The Double Flowering Frangipani is about to open it's petals

The Bouganvilleas are in full bloom along the side fence

Night flowering cactus is covered in blooms, and they are as big as desert plates!

Just look at the size of the Frangipani Obtusa flower - and the smell is heavenly!

The red frangipani tree has grown and is covered in blooms

A close up of it's blooms, sweet, but not as sweet as the obtusa. You can see the Plumbago beside it here

The blue Plumbago beside the red frangipani is stunning - the colours really play well together!

The self sewn ferns on the wedding palm, the bromeliads are about to grow over them!

My beautiful white geranium, not flowering yet but the leaves are gorgeous.

I hope you enjoyed that calming trip around our garden, the plants are all my favourites!

Now, I was thinking that perhaps tomorrow night I will give two words for next week - just let me know your preference.  I would like to finish up this weekly challenge before Christmas if possible, then we can start our monthly challenge in January.

Let me know what you think
