I'm about to Swoon Again.

Have the second Swoon  block cut out and ready to go -

Oops, the floral fabric is back to front, take my word for it, it's gorgeous, with gold highlights on the flowers - can't wait to finish this one!  And I'm also too lazy to go and take a picture of the right side of the fabric.

I'm also ready and about to start on Sue's block for the Swap blocks Australia March.

I have the fabric ready with this lovely turquoise and Cherry Red and now have to make up my mind between 5 different block designs!  We all know what I'm like, don't we! 

This is the last time you will see this fabric, you'll have to wait for the final block to go to Sue.   Ihope to make a decision tomorrow, while I am waiting for Alan at the hospital - he has to go in for a CT Scan.  His hernia repair is not too good at the moment.  Let's hope it all goes well.



Swoon - along

Katy at I'm a Ginger Monkey has begun a Swoon - along for all Swoon lovers - I just found the group on Flick'r last night.  I joined today!

There are 600 members in the group and there is a lot of information about the block if you need it.

So do join in if you would like to do a Swoon quilt, the blocks are just so large that it won't take long at all....

I'm Swooning.

I've done some more work today on the  "Plus Quilt" for the "special girl" that I showed you on the 30th of last month, but I also could not resist making one of these:-

It is enormous! If I remember correctly, it's 22" square.  9 of these make an 80" x 80" quilt!

I have not as yet trimmed this block and believe me I made every single mistake it would be possible to make on this block!  I unpicked and resewed so many seams that I didn't think I would ever finish it.  But I did, and even with all the problems I had, it still manages to look gorgeous!
