The wedding that we attended on Saturday, was a really happy and fun wedding. I do hope that loading doesn't take too long for you - there's a few pictures!!
Here are just a few pictures from it:-
Here are just a few pictures from it:-
3 weeks prior to the wedding, and here are my grandchildren, Jessica and Aaron, helping their mother into her wedding dress which required some hem adjustments
and here is Ruth, on a chair in my kitchen while I pin up the hems of her dress, and here am I, double chins and grimacing, with a mouthful of pins (yes I do that!!)!!
The wedding was held on 4th October, at Ruth's parents home on the front lawn( they live on acreage, so plenty of room)
Here we have the groom and his helpers, waiting for the bride to arrive
and here she comes! on the first Harley , followed by Aaron on the second!
Here Ruth is showing her mother the damage done to her frock on the exhaust of the Harley!! Never mind, it was on with the wedding regardless!!
Ruth was given away by her father and her son, Aaron. Here they are about to walk down the aisle.
It's all over bar the shouting here!
The happy couple
A nice photograph of them - Ruth and Darren. Ruth wore a Captain's hat, as Darren is an ex fisherman and still works on the water, but now he is in his home port!
Aaron and Jessica after the wedding, they are with Ruth's mother, Yvonne. Unfortunately she got her head chopped in half!!
We left just after the ceremony, as I was not feeling very well. But I would not have missed this for the world! Alan and I are just so happy for them both.

My dress actually got caught in the brake, but I now have a great momento of the day on the dress. Who says you have to trash your dress after the wedding I do things in reverse and trash it on the way to wedding. It will certainly will not be a day to forget. Thank you so much for coming and adjusting our dress Sharyn.
Love Ruth (Mrs B), Jess, Aaron and the new hubby Darren
despite the slight (!) problem with the dress looks as if a good time was had xx such fun x
That looks like such a fun wedding. It's a shame you had to leave early, I hope your feeling better now.
Hi Sharyn
so glad you got to the wedding, it did look like a happy day for all involved. Well done on the alterations, especially a wedding dress........
What a shame you missed the reception but if you're not feeling too well, there is no place like home.
Will be thinking of you tomorrow at the Craft Show and look forward to seeing you soon.
Love Linda xxxxx
Lovely photos Sharyn and it's nice to be able to see all the happy faces at the wedding. So glad you at least got to see the marriage ceremony but sorry you had to cut the festivities short. xo
