Sewing Morning Blocks

I have finally got 40 blocks made for my Thursday quilt - they are really easy and quick to make, I just procrastinate too much!

These are the colours I have done so far - 40 blocks don't make a very large quilt so I may do some more yet.  I am very pleased with all the colours - do you like them?

Sewing Morning

Well being Thursday, we met together for our sewing morning.  Or at least 2 of us were there - the good ones.  I did get lots done, and Anne helped me with squaring up blocks, which puts me ahead of the game at the moment.  Here's what I did

I have these magic red climbing daisies on this tree, and some climbing grape hyacinths on the other!  Haven't finished the second tree yet, it needs some branches and leaves to break up the purple, and then some more bushes and flowers in the garden, and we're ready to go!
