Baby It's Cold Outside!

Just dropping by to let you know that we shall now have until next Sunday, and then we will be back to normal and the word photo will be "black".
Of course I will post another "black" also!

Last night it was around 6 degrees Celsius here - the coldest temperaw ture for June since I don't know when. Tonight is shaping up to be just as cold, so we have the aircon on to try and keep us warm.  I hear that it has been below freezing elsewhere, so wer are pretty lucky I guess!

I have been very busy, knitting and crocheting my little heart away, still teaching myself to use the knitting machine, I really think that I need lessons!

I've started knitting some scarves - here's one that is finished:-

I thought that this little neck warmer was adorable -I've never seen anything like it, so I made one!

and here it is done up! Can't wait to wear it!

I am also working on a crochet blanket for the single bed in our spare room - almost finished but I took time out to make scarves!!

I'll show you more later this week, I've been too cold to get it all together for pictures!  So I'm afraid you will  have to wait for me to thaw out a l;ittle bit1!

I Finished a Blanket

I did finally finish the star blanket that I showed you HERE.

I thought it would never, ever end! I wanted to do it for my granddaughter, but by the time I finished it, I think I was just about over it!!

It was worth it though!

I was very pleased with the way it turned ut, and I am sure that Jessica was happy with it also.

It ended up not quite as large as I had hoped to do it, but I was running out of time!

I'm sure this is the reason why I can't settle into anything at the moment, this was such a big project and I feel like I am empty of creativity at the moment, so that is why I am covering jars and bottles!!
